Job summary

Dollar Tree in Olathe, KS is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and organize merchandise transfer from truck to floor while maintaining seasonal areas.

The role requires strong communication, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, and experience in store management or retail settings. A high school diploma is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions/concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and processing damaged merchandise; recordkeeping incl. payroll, scheduling, cash deposits and receipts, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
