Job summary

Dollar Tree seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, support customer service, and develop the team in Lenexa, Kansas. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations and activities.
• Provide friendly customer service and address questions or concerns.
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom and floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Follow corporate directives and communicate store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Keep store areas clean, organized, and secure assets.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Ensure store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
