Job summary

Dollar Tree in Milton, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, deliver excellent customer service, and develop a high-performing team.

You will assist with inventory, merchandising, opening/closing duties, and compliance with company policies while fostering a safe, welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash handling), and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and employees adhere to procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
