Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Part time team member in Park Rapids, MN to support store functions and daily activities. You will assist customers warmly, organize merchandise, and help with stocking, opening/closing procedures, and compliance with corporate directives.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential as you contribute to a clean, well-stocked store and a safe, professional environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics).
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash deposits) and loss prevention.
