STORE/NIGHT LEAD CLERK (Finance)

Direct and supervise all functions, duties, and activities for the department. Support the day-to-day functions of the Grocery operations. Minimum Qualifications:

• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)

• Monitor and control expenses for the department.
• Assist store management in preparing the store/department budget and financial reviews.
• Maintain awareness of inventory and stocking conditions; note discrepancies.
• Schedule price changes and update shelf tags and signs.
• Plan, organize, and supervise inventory processes.
• Train associates on inventory and Computer Assisted Ordering.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers and maintain logs.
• Reinforce safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and notify management.
• Practice preventive maintenance and inspect equipment.
• Report customer or employee accidents and safety risks.
• Report illegal activities such as robbery, theft, or fraud.
