STORE/NIGHT CLERK (Finance)

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department and monitor all established quality assurance standards. Minimum Requirements:
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction)
  • Effective communication skills

  • Retail experience
  • Second language skills (speaking, reading, and/or writing)
Responsibilities:
  • Promote trust and respect among associates
  • Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions about products and store services
  • Maintain knowledge of products to assist customers effectively
  • Recommend grocery items and inform customers of specials
  • Check product quality and freshness, review sell-by dates, and take appropriate actions
  • Label, stock, and inventory merchandise; ensure customers receive fresh products
  • Report discrepancies in product ordering or shipping
  • Display a positive attitude and stay current with ads and promotions
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures and logs
  • Follow safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and report accidents or safety risks
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and report repairs needed
  • Report customer or employee accidents, theft, or fraud
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
