- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction)
- Effective communication skills

Responsibilities include:
- Promoting trust and respect among colleagues
- Creating a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions and providing product suggestions
- Maintaining knowledge of products and store promotions
- Recommending grocery items and informing customers of specials
- Checking product quality, reviewing sell-by dates, and ensuring freshness
- Labeling, stocking, and inventory management
- Reporting discrepancies and safety concerns
- Adhering to food safety and safety procedures, including temperature logs and equipment maintenance
- Reporting accidents, safety risks, and illegal activities
