Job summary

Factory Direct Enterprises LLC d/b/a Ashley (FDE) is seeking a Store Planner to curate compelling, high-performing merchandise assortments for Ashley guests. You will partner with the Merchandising Manager to define assortment strategies, manage new product introductions, and develop exit plans for underperforming products.

You will travel weekly to retail locations, contribute to Ashley’s high-performance culture, and support merchandising initiatives that reinforce Ashley’s leadership in home

Qualifications

• BA/BS in business or merchandising; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 3-5 years’ experience in Category/Brand Management or Merchandising/Buying role is preferred.
• Intermediate MS Office skills: Outlook, Excel, PowerBI.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer preferences across locations and craft assortments to meet $/sqft targets.
• Collaborate with Sr. Merchandising Manager to set bi-yearly Category/Lifestyle allocation plans by location.
• Monitor performance and execute weekly assortment updates to drive revenue and KPIs.
• Determine floor sample eligibility and communicate changes for proper presentation.
• Develop and execute product addition strategies with the Merchandise Assortment Planner.
• Write POs or transfers for product additions and coordinate with store teams.
• Place replenishment POs for Bedgear and other third-party vendors.
• Coordinate with Visual Merchandisers to maintain Open Order Report and ETAs.
• Conduct assortment optimization visits with store VM teams to improve KPIs.
• Serve as liaison between VM/RVOM and Sales Teams in locations.
• Maintain professional relationships and demonstrate Ashley's values.
