Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager on Duty to lead day-to-day operations in a high-volume retail environment. You will supervise associates, manage opening and closing, and ensure excellent customer service while upholding corporate standards.

Responsibilities include overseeing merchandising, displays, promotions, and adherence to inventory integrity processes; you will drive sales, manage schedules, and support staff training to maintain a WOW customer experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinking to drive store performance.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick shelf placement.
• Manages setup and maintenance of store displays and promotional signage.
• Handles opening/closing procedures including cash handling and security.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, overseeing store operations and staff.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures customer service excellence.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives sales and controls expenses through merchandising and staffing decisions.
• Executes market plans and ensures promotional materials are current and compliant.
• Ensures Inventory Integrity processes are followed.
