Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager on Duty to oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and ensuring exceptional customer service. You will manage staff, coach associates, and execute merchandising plans to boost sales while controlling expenses.

A minimum of two years in a supervisory role is preferred. The role requires strong communication, flexibility to work day, evening, weekends, and potential overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to ensure items are quickly and efficiently placed on the sales floor
• Manages the setup and maintenance of displays for specific store sections, ensuring signage is accurate and promotions are properly highlighted
• Manages the entire process of opening or closing the store, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and daily operations
• Acts as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues
• Helps oversee daily activities of all store associates and ensure they perform duties effectively
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and procedures
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service
• Executes market plan by arranging products and signage per corporate guidelines and maintaining Inventory Integrity process
