Job summary

The Michaels Companies Newton, NJ store is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. You will ensure accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready environment through effective workload planning and inventory control.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience implementing SOPs and Company programs.
• Ability to manage store operations, inventory, and team performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager; ensure SOPs and Company programs are followed.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage; maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck processing, planogram execution, and in-store merchandising to company expectations.
• Oversee Ship from Store, Return to Vendor, and ASN receipt processes; maintain pricing integrity.
• Train, coach, and develop team members; uphold Asset Protection practices.
