Job summary

Michaels in Mayfield Heights, OH is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution, from truck processing to inventory routines and planogram sets. You will ensure price accuracy, timely promotional execution, and a customer-ready store environment.

You will lead SOP adherence, manage ship-from-store and RTV/ASN processes, and coach a team to maintain visual standards and strong selling floors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience
• Ability to manage a fast-paced store with frequent customer interactions

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of Company policies and standards, holding team accountable.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution processes, ensuring timely unloading and efficient flow of merchandise.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute and maintain SISO routines to drive in-stock levels.
• Oversee Planogram execution, ensuring merchandising sets are completed on schedule.
• Establish and maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Support a clean, organized, customer-ready store environment.
• Manage inventory control, ensuring product accuracy and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets, ensure promotional signage and product placement.
• Complete price changes accurately and on time.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving.
• Manage store damages procedures to reduce shrink.
• Train, coach, and develop team members.
• Partner in maintaining Asset Protection practices.
