Michaels in Brooklyn, OH is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and store operations, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. You will ensure accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready environment through solid workload planning.

You will lead SOP adherence, supervise team performance, and coordinate with store leadership to align staffing and execution with business needs, while maintaining in-stock levels and retail

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Ensure execution of Company policies and standards, holding team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution processes, ensuring timely unloading and efficient flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization, aligning staffing with business needs.
• Execute SISO routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support a clean, organized, and customer-ready store environment including backroom organization.
• Manage inventory control, product accuracy, and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets with compliant signage and product placement.
• Complete price changes on time, maintaining pricing integrity.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and returns processing.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with documentation accuracy.
• Manage store damages procedures and shrink reduction.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through onboarding and skill-building.
• Maintain Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink.
