Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a Merchandise Manager in Hudson, WI to lead merchandising and store operations. The role focuses on truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets and visual standards to ensure a customer-ready store environment.

You will drive pricing accuracy, promotional execution and daily workload planning with store leadership, while managing in-stock levels and backroom organization. Regular nights, weekends, and early mornings are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets and visual standards.
• Ensure accurate pricing and timely promotional execution, maintaining store readiness for customers.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership, service standards and operational continuity.
• Lead truck execution, ensuring unloading, sorting and flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership to match staffing to business needs.
• Oversee Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram execution and ensure merchandising sets are completed on schedule.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and initial product placement per company expectations.
• Support a clean, organized store environment including backroom and sales floor recovery.
• Manage inventory control, ensuring product integrity and efficient stock movement.
• Execute ad sets with compliant signage and product placement for customers.
• Complete price changes accurately and on time across floor and systems.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped efficiently.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with documentation accuracy and inventory adjustments.
• Manage store damages procedures and shrink reduction.
• Train and coach team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building across departments.
• Partner to maintain Asset Protection practices and safe operations.
