Job summary

Ulta Beauty seeks a Merchandise Manager to lead store operations, staffing, and sales performance. You will drive accountability, optimize scheduling within payroll budgets, and coach a diverse team to deliver strong guest service and seasonal initiatives.

You will oversee procedures, ensure policy compliance, and contribute to a high-performing environment focused on growth, training, and operational excellence across all store functions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1–2+ years of fast-paced retail management experience.
• Experience driving top-line sales, payroll budgets, and expense control.

Responsibilities

• Promote accountability to meet or exceed store goals for retail and service sales and guest loyalty.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence and expense control.
• Use forecasts and budgets to support scheduling and productivity within payroll constraints.
• Review financial and operational reports and act on findings.
• Lead makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Stay informed on trends and product benefits to better serve guests.
• Maintain attendance and enforce Ulta’s attendance policy.
• Attract, hire, and develop a diverse, high-performing team.
