Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The associate will be responsible for the following functions, along with other duties as assigned:

• Follow established procedures for receiving, unloading, pricing, and stocking products to ensure quality, accuracy, and proper rotation.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with safety and sanitation standards set by the company and regulatory agencies.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal weights, measures, and labeling laws.
• Greet customers and take their orders.
• Cut, tray, and package meat and seafood products as required.
• Follow safety practices when using cutting accessories and wear mesh gloves when using knives.
• Assist in pre-inventory preparation, including back stock management and matching tags to products.
• Assist in other departments as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not currently have supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED, plus at least 2 years of experience in a retail environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
