Store Manager - Zales - Trumbull Shopping Center

Join us for the Store Manager - Zales - Trumbull Shopping Center role at Signet Jewelers.

Position Overview: Reporting to the District Manager, the Store Manager (SM) will oversee daily store operations, driving sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, inventory management, brand representation, and team development. The SM will foster a People First environment, emphasizing diversity, inclusion, and exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales and service goals.
  • Develop staff through coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation align with brand standards.
  • Manage inventory, control expenses, and optimize profitability.
  • Build strong customer relationships and resolve issues promptly.
  • Implement corporate initiatives and strategic plans effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years college preferred.
  • At least 3 years retail sales experience, or 2 years retail sales plus 1 year retail management.
  • Jewelry or specialty retail experience preferred.
  • Diamond Council of America (DCA) certification is a plus.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and related tools.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

Physical & Work Schedule: Must be able to stand, reach, and lift up to 10 pounds. Flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays, with increased hours during peak seasons. Typical schedule aims for a 40-hour week during non-peak times.
