About the Role
As a Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for the total omni customer experience in your store, ensuring high visual and commercial standards according to the store format, location, and global & regional strategies. You will lead the full store team to excel, creating an inclusive culture that promotes collaboration and entrepreneurial spirit. You will analyze sales data, follow up on results, and create plans to optimize profits.
A Day in the Life

- Managing the total OMNI customer experience, ensuring visual and commercial standards are met
- Representing the H&M brand positively during customer interactions
- Establishing, analyzing, and following up on sales and budget goals, creating plans to improve results
- Providing excellent customer service and guiding customers through fashion stories
- Promoting the Customer Loyalty App and sustainability initiatives
- Planning schedules according to sales and commercial activities
- Ensuring proper routines in fitting rooms and at checkout
- Identifying commercial opportunities and maintaining competitor awareness
- Managing store maintenance cost-effectively
- Handling administrative routines for people and operations
Fashion & Trend Awareness
- Keeping up with fashion trends, styles, brands, competitors, and influencers
- Ensuring your team has adequate product and fashion knowledge
- Understanding the local market, customers, and fashion trends
Team & Development
- Managing talent acquisition, onboarding, upskilling, and development
- Conducting performance evaluations and succession planning
- Sharing knowledge and fostering collaboration with the team and leadership
- Planning and scheduling team activities
- Communicating regularly to motivate and inform staff
- Ensuring compliance with procedures, routines, and legal requirements
- Participating in onboarding, training, and development programs
Retail Operations/Visual & Commercial Execution
- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment
- Ensuring high-quality visual and product presentation
- Managing stock levels and providing input on allocation
- Overseeing daily opening and closing routines
- Managing the entire garment cycle and fitting room routines
- Maintaining in-store OMNI services and tech tools
- Keeping price signs updated and consistent
- Maintaining BOH areas for safety and tidiness
