Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Manager Trainee to learn the duties of the Store Manager and develop the skills required to lead a store. You will focus on delivering Legendary Customer Experience, building the team, driving sales, and managing inventory and profit.

This role emphasizes creating an inclusive, productive work environment, coordinating daily activities, preparing budgets and forecasts, and supporting district managers.

Qualifications

• Experience: Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.

• Recruiting, hiring, developing, evaluating, disciplining, and retaining efficient team members.

• Creating a welcoming environment with diversity, equity and inclusion across team members, customers, suppliers and communities.
• Schedule, organize, and plan daily activities for team members to ensure efficient store operations.
• Leading team members to ensure a Legendary customer shopping experience that differentiates from the competition.
• Communicate company processes, policies, and directives; collaborate with District/Regional Managers to improve operations.
• Learn sales and profit management and budgeting; train on inventory management and merchandise resets.
• Train on paperwork, forecasting, payroll analysis, and budget review.
• Participate in community involvement and team member relations.
