Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Manager Trainee to learn the duties and responsibilities of a Store Manager while developing leadership, inventory control, and store operations skills. You will contribute to a Legendary Customer Experience and work with the team to drive sales and maintain store standards.

The role emphasizes team development, effective communication, and operational excellence, with hands-on training in daily merchandising, planning, and performance governance.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.

• Create a welcoming environment and ensure diversity, equity and inclusion is experienced across team members and customers.
• Schedule and organize daily activities to ensure efficient store operations.
• Lead team members to ensure a Legendary shopping experience that differentiates from the competition.
• Communicate company processes and directives to team members and coordinate with District/Regional managers to resolve issues.
• Learn how to create a desirable work environment through promotions, recognition, and empowerment.
• Handle paperwork, inventory management, and special projects to support store performance.
• Train on budgeting, sales forecasting, and auditing store processes.
