Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a Store Manager Trainee for a full-time role with a starting wage of $35.50 per hour and an estimated 45 hours per week. Trainees will train at multiple locations across the division to develop leadership and operations skills to drive store performance.

In year one, earn up to $122,000 including salary and bonus, with opportunities to lead teams, manage schedules, and uphold ALDI policies while delivering solid financial results.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports; leads and develops store personnel.
• Develops and implements action plans to improve operating results.
• Oversees resolution of employee and customer concerns with district manager as needed.
• Interviews candidates for store positions and provides recommendations.
• Manages personnel including advancement and termination decisions.
• Ensures compliant interactions with customers, vendors and partners.
• Drives sales and builds a positive team environment to achieve KPI goals.
• Trains and develops store personnel to reach maximum potential.
