Job summary

This position is designed to develop external candidates for the Store Manager role for a limited period.

You will assist in recruiting, merchandising, inventory controls, cashier accountability, and ensuring a safe, well‑stocked store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment preferred for external candidates.
• Ability to recruit, hire and train qualified applicants to fulfill a store need.
• Ensures store compliance to federal labor laws and company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and stock management.
• Assist in inventory management and llevan proper paperwork.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Open and close store operations as needed.
• Review operating statements to identify trends and opportunities.
