Job summary

ALDI is looking for passionate and driven individuals to join our Store Manager Trainee program. In this role, you will develop the skills and knowledge necessary to lead your own store, delivering outstanding customer service and creating a positive work environment for your team.

You will collaborate with experienced leaders to ensure operational excellence and drive sales growth, with full-time hours and a starting wage of $33.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including travel.

Responsibilities

• Leads store personnel and communicates performance expectations.
• Develops action plans to improve operating results.
• Oversees resolution of employee and customer concerns with district support.
• Interviews candidates and recommends for advancement.
• Manages personnel, including promotions and terminations as appropriate.
• Maintains compliance with policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Trains and develops staff to maximize professional potential.
• Plans weekly schedules and ensures accurate store operations.
• Protects assets by following cash handling and inventory procedures.
• Fosters teamwork and supports store KPI and budget goals.
