Job summary

Rebel Convenience Stores is seeking a Store Manager Trainee in California to learn every aspect of our operations and prepare for future management opportunities. You’ll gain hands-on maintenance experience, oversee safety and customer service, and develop leadership skills as you progress toward a store management role.

The role includes training across maintenance, operations, and team leadership, with a path to advancement in one of the nation's fastest-growing convenience store brands.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience: Maintenance, trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC), or foodservice background preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and MS Office knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Maintenance & Operations: diagnose, repair, and maintain store equipment (pumps, dispensers, HVAC, refrigeration, lighting, POS).
• Leadership Development: learn scheduling, task prioritization, project reporting, and guide team members.
• Customer & Safety Focus: ensure stores are safe, clean, and deliver great guest experience.
• Problem Solving: work with contractors, vendors, and team members to resolve issues quickly and cost-effectively.
• Training & Growth: participate in company training programs to develop technical and leadership skills for future management.
