Walgreens is offering a structured, accelerated Store Manager development program in the Nokomis, FL area. Trainees will learn to lead full store operations across front-end and pharmacy under the Store Manager’s guidance.

The program includes classroom, online, and on-the-job training, rotations across stores, and ongoing development conversations with district leadership to ensure readiness for permanent assignment as a Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring area.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Store Manager to learn store operations and lead front-end and pharmacy activities.
• Support Store Manager by coordinating training and development for team members.
• Monitor customer service trends and coach staff to improve service metrics.
• Assist in operating procedures, inventory management, and asset protection.
• Contribute to business planning, scheduling, and performance discussions.
