Job summary

Walgreens is offering an accelerated Store Manager development track designed to lead the full store operation across front-end and pharmacy. You will work under the Store Manager to learn the role and complete required certifications within the program timeline.

The program includes classroom, online, and on-the-job training, with rotations across area stores and leadership conversations to ensure readiness for permanent assignment and future growth in retail management and pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or equivalent.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekends.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets within the same hiring area.

Responsibilities

• Oversees store operation (front-end and pharmacy) under Store Manager guidance.
• Participates in accelerated development plan toward Store Manager readiness.
• Supports customer experience by coaching staff and improving service metrics.
• Gains exposure to opening/closing shifts, merchandising, inventory, and loss prevention.
