Job summary

Walgreens is offering an accelerated Store Manager training program in the United States. Trainees will learn front-end and pharmacy operations, shadow the Store Manager, and complete certifications to qualify for Store Manager roles.

The program includes rotations across stores, classroom and on-the-job training, and ongoing development with district leadership. Successful candidates will pursue pharmacy tech registration and PTCB certification as required by state law.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or HS diploma/GED and 5 years retail management experience.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to accept assignment into Store Manager position if offered.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens assets within the hiring area.

Responsibilities

• Learn Walgreens' operations and lead full store operations across front-end and pharmacy.
• Oversee front-end and pharmacy store operations under the Store Manager.
• Shadow and assist Store Manager to gain experience and readiness for Store Manager role.
