GENERAL FUNCTION

Our goal at Target Optical is to make our guests happy by making vision and style simple and fun. The Store Manager leads a team of high-performing team members to deliver exceptional experiences, achieving all brand goals and commitments.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Ensure team members deliver outstanding guest experiences by modeling and coaching store rules.
  2. Set clear expectations for store readiness and guest service.
  3. Coordinate floor flow and serve as a caretaker for guests and team members.
  4. Develop action plans for team members' growth and hold them accountable.
  5. Provide timely feedback and foster a culture of simplicity, fun, and style.
  6. Conduct performance reviews and coaching sessions regularly.
  7. Understand key success drivers and identify areas for improvement.
  8. Build professional relationships with optical doctors and target store teams to enhance business performance.
  9. Recruit top talent and create effective schedules based on business trends and traffic.
  10. Manage payroll, personnel paperwork, and store inventory processes.
  11. Ensure compliance with all policies, merchandising standards, and promotional activities.
  12. Accurately process sales and utilize sales strategies effectively.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years in customer service or retail
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, results-driven, critical thinking skills
  • Experience in recruiting, talent development, selling, motivating, and influencing others
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Opticianry License or ABO Certification
  • 3+ years in management or supervisory roles
