WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We seek an experienced entrepreneurial leader with Outlet experience for our flagship outlet at Sawgrass Mills. The Store Manager will be a dynamic leader thriving in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strategic foresight, fostering collaboration, and driving business initiatives. This role involves creating and executing business strategies, cultivating the boutique as a hub for client engagement and community connection, and embodying the Maison's values in all interactions and operations.
Network Development and Brand Ambassador
- Ensure excellence in the in-store experience by maintaining a strong front-of-house presence and fostering a “couture service” mindset.
- Lead and motivate the Boutique team, supporting their understanding and implementation of company strategies.
- Actively embody Valentino’s values and engage with the local community to promote the brand.
- Attract and recruit new clients through personal networks and external partnerships.
- Develop a goal-oriented selling culture focused on Clienteling—relationship selling, building a client base, and providing exceptional service to enhance loyalty and retention.
Business and Sales Performance
- Drive sales performance to meet or exceed targets while maintaining operational integrity and profitability.
- Analyze store KPIs regularly, devising action plans to meet goals.
- Develop and review annual store strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless execution of business plans.
- Identify opportunities for performance improvement through strategic partnerships.
- Manage personnel expenses and adhere to discounting policies to preserve brand integrity.
- Work with Merchandising and Buying teams to ensure relevant product availability.
- Report weekly sales trends and opportunities to the Valentino Leadership team.
Team Leadership & Management
- Create a motivating, inclusive environment valuing diversity and teamwork.
- Provide constructive feedback, manage conflicts professionally, and collaborate with Retail Director & HRBP.
- Conduct performance evaluations and support team development and succession planning.
- Ensure high standards of professionalism and operational excellence.
- Set SMART goals, optimize staffing, and ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Facilitate effective communication through briefings and training.
- Retain talent, recruit effectively, and plan team activities to meet standards.
- Maintain a positive, safe work environment and handle personnel issues per policies and laws.
- Conduct regular store meetings to communicate performance and sales objectives.
- Set and monitor team objectives, both quantitative and qualitative.
CRM and Events Management
- Enhance client experience through proactive sales and adherence to Valentino’s Client Journey standards.
- Implement clienteling strategies, leveraging digital tools to engage and retain clients.
- Build external relationships to foster brand loyalty and expand the client network.
- Manage the client database and execute marketing actions as per CRM guidelines.
- Assist in handling sensitive sales and after-sales situations following company procedures.
- Stay informed on HQ and corporate strategies to strengthen customer relationships.
- Develop client development strategies to nurture meaningful relationships.
- Participate in local partnerships and community events to boost brand visibility and market research.
Store Operations and Merchandise
- Maintain operational policies to optimize store performance and reduce loss.
- Participate in critical operational tasks, especially during peak seasons.
- Oversee inventory management, product transfers, and end-of-season returns.
- Manage cash and payment systems in compliance with policies.
- Facilitate store audits and uphold administrative procedures.
- Ensure store maintenance and the proper functioning of furnishings and equipment.
- Monitor product rotation to maximize sales, collaborating with Merchandising/Buying teams.
Visual Merchandising
- Coordinate with Visual Merchandising to implement visual strategies aligned with HQ guidelines.
- Ensure visual standards support sales strategies and assess their effectiveness.
- Maintain order and cleanliness of displays and windows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Store Management or a leadership role.
- Luxury department store management experience is preferred but not required.
- Proven success in team development and achieving results.
- Strong knowledge of product and client journey.
- Business acumen with understanding of store and team KPIs.
- Proactive in identifying opportunities and proposing actions.
- Effective team management and motivational skills.
- Excellent organizational, follow-up, and time management skills.
- Confident relationship-building skills with clients, teams, and the business.
- Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects under deadlines.
- Proficient in store sales and operations systems.
