Job summary

TJ Maxx, part of TJX Companies, Inc., is seeking a Store Manager to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced retail environment in Brookhaven, MS. You will drive sales, control costs, and foster an inclusive, high-performing culture that supports Associates and delivers exceptional customer experiences.

You will recruit and develop a large team, implement strategic plans, and ensure compliance with loss prevention, health and safety, and corporate standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail experience as a Store or District Manager in high-volume environments.
• Proven ability to develop and motivate a large team.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and decision-making.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of store operations, loss prevention, health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of store operations to boost sales, control expenses, and minimize shrink and damages.
• Recruit, train, develop, and manage a large team of associates and assistant managers; mentor future Store Managers.
• Develop and implement plans to increase store sales and provide input on merchandise mix, inventory levels, and customer demographics.
• Focus staff on Loss Prevention priorities and ensure compliance with company programs and policies.
• Ensure a positive customer experience through high standards in service and presentation and drive store initiatives.
