Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Manage daily business operations, including scheduling, staffing, customer satisfaction, and workflow optimization.
- Ensure all services are completed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company, safety, and industry standards.
- Analyze and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track shop performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies for customer retention and future business growth to maximize and exceed business objectives and sales and profitability goals.
- Provide legendary customer service and ensure customer satisfaction through professional and effective customer interactions and communications. This includes achieving high call conversion rates, correctly applying sales promotions and discounts, promoting financing options, ensuring quality repair services, conducting post-service follow-ups, obtaining positive customer reviews, and resolving customer concerns promptly.
- Oversee, analyze, manage, and control inventory levels, business costs and expenses, responsible use of P-Card, payroll management, injury and damage claims, and more to support business objectives and budgets.
- Act as a key holder for the facility and fulfill opening and closing procedures, including nightly deposits, system close-out procedures, responding to alarms and security concerns after hours, and more.
- Analyze, reduce, and minimize workplace safety concerns, injuries, and damages through training, enforcement, and team compliance with OSHA and safety policies.
- Ensure test drives are conducted correctly, adhering to company policies, safety practices, and traffic laws.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
- Stay current on industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory changes affecting automotive repair and safety.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute business plans, directives, initiatives, programs, and budgets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Direct supervisory responsibility, including training, development, mentoring, and evaluating employees to ensure high-quality workmanship, customer satisfaction, and workplace culture.
- Participate in hiring, firing, promotion, and other employment decisions.
- Lead and foster a strong, inclusive, and cohesive team environment.
- Implement and enforce business policies, procedures, and initiatives through team meetings, training, and audits.
- Manage workflow, work quality, and schedules for all employees.
- Demonstrate integrity and excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Exhibit excellent communication, interpersonal, supervisory, and leadership skills.
- Possess extensive knowledge of the automotive industry and repair procedures, business acumen, and financial principles.
- Maintain organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with technology, computer systems, and software, including Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI).
- Competent in inventory and expense management.
- Capable of thriving in a high-paced sales environment.
- Able to provide and receive constructive feedback and manage priorities effectively.
- Meet attendance expectations consistently.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Active and unrestricted driver’s license.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in business management or related field is a plus.
- At least three years of related experience and managerial experience preferred.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. while employed by Leeds West Groups.
- Successful background check and MVR check with a clean driving record.

Physical Demands

Position Details
This is a full-time, salaried, onsite position requiring at least 50 hours per week, including weekends and possibly travel between locations up to 25%.
Travel
Up to 25% local travel, with less than 5% overnight travel. Reimbursements may apply.
