Job summary

Furniture For Life is seeking an energetic Store Manager in Colorado Springs to lead a team of Comfort Consultants and drive exceptional in-store experiences. You’ll guide scheduling, training, and customer engagement while upholding our standards of product quality and service.

The role requires a proven track record in store leadership, strong communication, and the ability to motivate a team to meet sales and profit goals, including flexible evening and weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years store management (manager or assistant manager) experience.
• Proficiency with Google Suite or MS Office Suite.
• Experience with POS/CRM platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Dazzle and delight customers with exceptional service.
• Create an atmosphere of curiosity and discovery for customers to explore comfortable solutions.
• Confidently present products to reinforce our reputation for quality and service.
• Hire and train a world-class team of Comfort Consultants.
• Manage scheduling hours and payroll approval.
• Follow up on quotes and post-sale contact with customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and execute merchandising plans.
• Maximize sales and meet 4-wall profit targets.
• Provide reporting and tracking as required.

PAY AND BENEFITS

• $80,000 - $90,000 total anticipated compensation ($55,000 - $65,000 salary +commissions + store performance bonuses); commissions earned are not capped, and higher annual earnings are possible

Requirements

The Person:

• An entrepreneurial, energetic, and creative Store Manager with strong leadership skills who can develop a team of highly effective and passionate Comfort Consultants.
• A track record of demonstrated top-notch interpersonal skills and ability to quickly establish rapport and develop enduring relationships
• Self-starter that actively seeks, provides, and values feedback
• Highly motivated with a desire to be successful
• Fun, passionate and a quick study with a thirst for knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Educational and Professional Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years store management (manager or assistant manager experience); big ticket sales preferred
• Proficiency with Google Suite or MS Office Suite
• Experience with POS/CRM platforms a plus

The Responsibilities:

• Consistently dazzle and delight your customers

• Execute all required customer follow up related to quotes and post-sale contact
• Maintain a meticulously clean, organized, and up-to-date sales floor. Execute merchandising plans based on company guidelines
• Passionately and aggressively maximize sales. Meet sales and 4-wall profit expectations
• Provide reporting and tracking as required
• Focus on and succeed at consistently creating Positive Memorable Customer Experiences
• Demand a high level of performance from the company retail support team. Identify (then productively and clearly communicate) areas of weakness, opportunities to improve results, and anything you see that would help the company build a better, smarter business operation
