Job summary

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees per laws and policies.
• Provide training, evaluate performance, and counsel or terminate as needed.
• Make recommendations on pay and advancement levels.
• Communicate expectations and coordinate meetings to ensure safety and policies.
• Open and close the store reliably several times per week.
• Analyze operating statements for trends, profitability and shrink.
• Maintain in-stock targets; manage ordering plans and cycles.
• Support staging, stocking and storage following company processes.
• Present merchandise according to standards with proper pricing and signage.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and control damages and markdowns.
• Ensure cash control, key security and store financial integrity.
• Deliver superior customer service leadership.
• Keep store clean, safe and well-organized; manage required tools.
• Follow SOPs, handbooks and communications; ensure staff compliance.
• Complete paperwork and documentation within deadlines.
