• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to laws and company policies.
• Provide training, conduct performance evaluations, and counsel when needed.
• Make recommendations on pay rates and advancement opportunities.
• Set expectations for performance, safety and policy compliance.
• Open and close the store as scheduled, maintain staffing levels.
• Monitor sales, expenses and inventory trends to identify opportunities.
• Oversee stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing and signage.
• Maintain accurate inventory and cash controls; ensure loss prevention.
• Lead customer service initiatives and maintain a clean, secure store.
• Ensure tools and fixtures are ready and policies are followed.
• Complete paperwork and documentation on time.
