Qualifications

• Knowledge of cash handling, cashier accountability, and deposit controls.
• Experience with inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, hiring, counseling and termination practices.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees and ensure proper staffing.
• Train, evaluate performance and address gaps with coaching or termination if needed.
• Make recommendations on pay rates and advancement opportunities.
• Communicate performance expectations and coordinate safety and policy adherence.
• Open and close the store as required and ensure daily staffing.
• Monitor sales, profitability, and inventory trends to drive in-stock and efficiency.
• Oversee ordering, stock replenishment, and cycle counts weekly.
• Ensure merchandise is presented per standards, with correct pricing and signage.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, control damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Safeguard financial integrity through cash control and security practices.
• Provide strong customer service leadership and a clean, safe store environment.
