Job summary

The Container Store is seeking a Store Manager in Salt Lake City to lead daily operations, coach a high-performing team, and drive an exceptional customer experience. This full-time, salaried role partners with the General Manager to translate strategy into action and ensure financial and service goals are met.

You will manage labor planning, merchandising standards, safety protocols, and store maintenance while championing a high-performance culture and integrity across all processes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail leadership experience.
• Excellent coaching and feedback skills.
• Strong communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Executes store strategy with General Manager to improve revenue, customer experience, and operations.
• Coaches and develops team to deliver consistent performance and exceptional service.
• Manages payroll reporting and staffing aligned with priorities and traffic.
• Analyzes store data to track progress and identify performance gaps.
• Leads visual merchandising to align with brand guidelines and boost sales.
• Oversees inventory, fulfillment, money handling, and backroom organization for accuracy.
