Job summary

You will oversee performance, scheduling, customer service, and merchandising to meet in-store targets while ensuring safety and compliance across all store processes.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules and procedures (must).
• Perform mathematical calculations including percentages and basic operations.
• Knowledge of cash handling, deposits, and cashier accountability.
• Cash register operations and report generation.
• Inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, and termination practices including compliance.
• Familiarity with cash, safety and facility control policies.
• Good organization and attention to detail; able to solve problems.
• Retail management experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all employees and store processes including ordering, receiving, stocking, and customer service.
• Recruit, select, and retain staff per laws and policy; ensure proper staffing and training.
• Conduct performance evaluations and address gaps or counseling if needed.
• Oversee scheduling, opening/closing of the store with required frequency.
• Review operating statements to identify trends and opportunities for cost control.
• Oversee inventory planning, stock replenishment, and cycle counts.
• Ensure merchandising standards, pricing, signage and fixture use.
• Maintain cash controls and security practices; ensure cashier accountability.
• Provide leadership for customer service and store safety.
• Complete paperwork and documentation in a timely manner.
