Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Store Manager to lead sales, profitability, appearance, and overall operations of the store, ensuring growth and adherence to company policies.

You will direct team, schedule, manage pricing, monitor inventories, perform store accounting, and partner with district management on hiring, training, and development; participation in annual conferences is expected.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, Manager Development Program module.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be well organized with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage time efficiently.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment, and systems.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
• Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE certification.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales by directing team to provide prompt, courteous service.
• Solicit orders, sell company products, and represent the company per policy.
• Supervise store team and recruit/hire/evaluate staff with District Manager.
• Develop and post work schedules based on sales and payroll forecasting.
• Manage store accounting functions: sales reports, deposits, cash drawers, checks.
• Monitor pricing levels for professional customers and ensure policy compliance.
• Implement planogram changes and merchandising plans.
• Attend the Annual Managers' Conference.
