You will supervise staff, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with company standards while building a positive work environment. Open availability and a pay rate of $26 per hour with quarterly bonuses accompany this full-time role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail management with strong sales and customer service.
• Ability to manage cash handling, registers, and inventory control.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate a diverse team.
• Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
• Experience negotiating with vendors and managing vendor relationships.
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on customer service and sales growth.

Responsibilities

• Organize store operations and allocate responsibilities to personnel.
• Maintain an up-to-date product inventory sheets and pick lists.
• Maintain backstock in a neat, clean and organized manner.
• Interview, select candidates, and oversee a team of retail associates.
• Create and maintain the schedule for all retail associates.
• Delegate responsibilities to retail associates.
• Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance.
• Prepare and control the store’s budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency.
• Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget.
• Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store’s reputation.
• Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise.
• Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays.
• Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store.
• Assist in analyzing sales and revenue reports and make forecasts.
• Ensure the store fulfills all safety guidelines, including securely opening and closing the retail location based on standard procedure.
• Contribute to a positive work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
