Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager in Mississippi to drive operations, sales, and guest experience at a multi-million-dollar store. You will mentor teams, ensure execution of merchandising, staffing, and budget controls, and partner with district leaders to deliver our values and results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Experience utilizing scheduling and reporting computer software.
• Travel may be required from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Direct management and oversight of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure implementation of policies and initiatives.
• Ensure staff fulfill individual responsibilities.
• Coordinate merchandise placement, promotions, and pricing with Merchandising.
• Review receiving, transfers, debits/damages, RTVs, and chargeback paperwork to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty; lead by example and model SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales and expense budgets; review reporting and records.
• Recruit and hire associates to meet staffing needs.
• Onboard and train new associates; provide ongoing coaching and development.
• Handle personnel and associate relations issues.
• Manage payroll budget and scheduling; optimize workforce planning.
• Foster effective communication across store, district, regional teams, and partners.
