Job summary

Burlington Stores in Utah-West Jordan is seeking a Store Manager to lead all aspects of a multi-million-dollar store operation. You will model Our Burlington values, mentor the team, and partner with store colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and a world-class shopping experience.

The role requires a track record in retail management, strong leadership and communication skills, and ability to adapt scheduling to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience utilizing scheduling and reporting computer software.
• Travel may be required from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Direct management and oversight of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure implementation of company policies.
• Ensure store team members fulfill their responsibilities and execute merchandising, operations and service tasks.
• Coordinate merchandise placement, sales promotions and pricing with Merchandising teams.
• Review receiving, transfers, debits/damages, RTVs and chargeback paperwork to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) and lead by example following Burlington SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales volume and expense budget and related reporting.
• Recruit, screen and hire associates to meet staffing needs and provide onboarding and ongoing coaching.
• Handle personnel and associate relations issues; manage payroll budget and scheduling.
• Foster effective communication among store team, district and regional management.
