Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule; including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Travel may be required from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Direct management and oversight of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure implementation of established policies, standards, expectations and initiatives.
• Ensure Assistant Managers and store team members fulfill their responsibilities.
• Coordinate merchandise placement, sales promotions and pricing with the Assistant Store Manager, Merchandising.
• Review receiving, transfers, debits/damages, RTVs, and chargeback paperwork to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty; lead by example and model Burlington SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales volume and expense budget with reporting and record-keeping.
• Recruitment, screening and hiring of associates to meet staffing needs.
• Onboarding and training for new associates with ongoing coaching and development.
• Handle personnel and associate relations issues.
• Payroll budget management, workforce management and scheduling.
• Facilitate communication among store team, district and regional management teams.
