Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Store Manager in Brunswick, OH to lead store operations and drive sales while upholding Our Burlington values. You will mentor and coach a team, partner with multiple store functions, and own day-to-day merchandising, operations, and service management to ensure a world-class shopping experience.

As Manager on Duty, you will optimize staffing, schedules, and performance, manage budgeting and reporting, and build strong partnerships with district and regional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in Big Box or Specialty environments.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 40 lbs.
• Experience with scheduling and reporting software.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure implementation of established policies and initiatives.
• Ensure team members fulfill their individual responsibilities.
• Coordinate merchandise placement, sales promotions and pricing in partnership with the Merchandising team.
• Review receiving, transfers, debits/damages, returns-to-vendor, and chargebacks for inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty; lead by example and model Burlington SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales volume and expense budget with reporting and record-keeping.
• Recruit, screen and hire associates to meet staffing needs.
• Facilitate onboarding and training for new associates; provide ongoing coaching.
• Handle personnel and associate relations issues.
• Payroll budget management and scheduling.
• Facilitate effective communication among store, district, and regional teams.
