Store Manager
As a Lush Store Manager, you are a true leader embodying our core values: Be Real, Be Curious, Lead Fearlessly, Adapt and Evolve, Grow Talent, and Live with Purpose. You lead by example in customer interaction, team motivation, and business decision-making.
You will be responsible for:
- Recruiting and training your management team
- Training staff on brand, product, and service
- Managing budgets, sales targets, and creating a positive environment for staff and customers
- Assessing performance and seeking growth opportunities for yourself and your team
Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Experience:
- Collaborate on plans to exceed sales goals and deliver an inclusive customer experience
- Educate staff and customers on our brand values and initiatives
- Increase product knowledge and make informed recommendations
- Develop and execute business plans aligned with company strategy
Team Leadership:
- Coach and develop staff, create development plans, and provide constructive feedback
- Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) initiatives
- Address performance concerns empathetically and create action plans for improvement
- Ensure a diverse and inclusive team through transparent recruitment and promotion practices
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, including health and safety
- Manage stock, inventory, and merchandising to optimize KPIs and sales
- Oversee scheduling, time management, and payroll accuracy within budget
Qualifications:
Required:
- 3-5 years retail management experience
- Strong HR skills: hiring, scheduling, training, conflict resolution, performance management
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Customer service, supervisory, and sales skills
- Interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
- Flexibility to work holidays, evenings, and weekends
Preferred:
- Experience with consultation-based customer service
- Proven ability to develop and train staff
- Experience in cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB training
- Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages
- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Suite, and adaptable to other systems
