We are searching for the best talent for Operations Technician II in Irvine, California.

The Operations Technician is responsible for the production and assembly of medical equipment/devices according to strict quality and regulatory standards. This role involves operating equipment/machinery, conducting inspections, and ensuring all products meet safety and performance specifications. Technicians work collaboratively with engineering and quality assurance teams to solve production issues and implement process improvements. Attention to detail, technical proficiency, and knowledge of manufacturing protocols are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate daily with production workers, supervisors, and management to support the production line.
  2. Assist with implementation of process improvements, including qualifications and validations.
  3. Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
  4. Record all equipment downtime, machine repairs, audits, and non-conformance events in the maintenance management system.
  5. Understand and communicate all processes and systems involved in manufacturing, updating line boards as needed.
  6. Conduct manufacturing document reviews, update documents, and review with supervisor.
Qualifications
Education:
  • Technical career or equivalent work experience in fields such as Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Machinery, Electro-mechanics, Electronics, Instrumentation, Manufacturing, or Medical Devices.
Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Proven knowledge of process engineering principles related to medical equipment manufacturing is highly desirable.
  • Experience with resource planning software (e.g., SAP, JDE).
  • Ability to interpret 2D engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of quality standards applicable to medical devices/equipment.

Preferred:

  • Strong statistical skills and familiarity with statistical software.
  • Ability to work within an ISO structured quality system.
  • Knowledge of engineered materials and fabrication methods.
  • Good planning, multi-tasking, and project management skills.
  • Proven track record of completing projects on time and achieving goals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Other:

This is a lab-based, full-time onsite position in Irvine, CA, working 5 days a week.

Ability to travel up to 10%, domestically and internationally.

Additional Information:

The anticipated pay range is $25 - $40/hour, with performance-based bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
