Job summary

Palm Beach Tan in Arlington Heights is seeking a dynamic store manager to lead daily operations, supervise staff, interview and develop employees, and nurture a positive, respectful environment for customers and team members.

You will analyze daily sales, meet performance metrics, control labor and inventory costs, ensure safety, banking, and legal compliance, and participate in training and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to effectively motivate others.
• Stand, bend, walk for long periods of time.
• Lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• This position has a required 5-week manager-training course with performance metrics.
• Interview, hire, and develop store staff.
• Create a positive, respectful environment for employees and customers.
• Meet self-performance metrics and help develop employees to meet their metrics.
• Analyze daily sales information to maximize sales.
• Meet banking, safety, operations and legal requirements.
• Control expenses: labor, inventory and maintenance.
• Assign, manage, and follow up on daily tasks to keep store clean, stocked and organized.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues.
