Insomnia Cookies is actively hiring for a full-time hourly Store Manager in Training (MIT) at our Tampa SOHO store located at 533 S Howard Avenue, Tampa FL 33606. We are seeking hospitality-focused individuals looking to join our industry-leading, rapidly growing, nationally recognized company!

What will I do as a MIT with Insomnia Cookies?
  • Perform as Manager-on-Duty during scheduled shifts when Store Ops Manager (GM) is not present
  • Supervise, train, and coach 2-5 team members engaged in cookie sales and customer deliveries
  • Lead onboarding and initial training for new hourly staff
  • Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires (Cookie Crew, Shift Leaders, Delivery Drivers) in the manager’s absence
  • Support Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory, and scheduling
  • Ensure staff adherence to Insomnia Cookies’ standards (baking, uniform, policies)
  • Drive upselling and customer service excellence, ensuring team members do the same
Desired skills/experience:
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience in restaurant or retail
  • Experience conducting in-person interviews for hourly support staff
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Word, and applicant tracking systems
  • Availability to work 4-5 days per week, including 1-2 mid-to-late shifts (Thurs-Sun)
  • Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
