Job summary

Circle K is seeking a Store Manager for the Peoria location at 2427 W Northland Ave. You will lead daily operations, supervise staff, and drive excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will recruit, train, schedule and coach employees, maintain inventory and store standards, and manage cash handling. Strong English communication, a valid driver's license, and autonomy are required for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train staff for CSR/ASM duties.
• Ability to supervise and manage CSR/ASM functions.
• Ability to use computer for reports, inventory and cash control.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation to meetings.
• English communication (oral and written).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train employees to ensure excellent customer service.
• Develop, manage and assign tasks to keep the site clean and stocked.
• Schedule employees to maximize service and maintain site image.
• Implement non-discriminatory management while hiring, training and counseling.
• Develop positive relationships with suppliers and resolve complaints.
• Promote a safe, positive image within the community.
• Prepare performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback.
• Train employees on safety procedures and promote safety awareness.
• Establish timely communications with all site staff and the Market Manager.
• Organize site files and ensure reports and posters are accessible.
