Job summary

Maplefields & R.L. Vallee in Enosburg Falls, VT is seeking an Assistant Manager/Manager in Training to develop skills to oversee store operations in the absence of a manager.

You will assist the Store Manager with daily activities and training of sales associates while upholding company standards. This full-time role offers hourly pay of $18.00 to $22.00, paid vacation, sick time, holidays, health/dental/vision plans, a 401k plan, and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring and training individuals to provide exceptional customer service as members of the Maplefields team.
• Coordinate and participate in all functions and duties associated with operating a convenience store. Monitor cash drawers and explain overages/shortages; complete financial paperwork and provide shift coverage as needed.
• Create a positive work environment to motivate, encourage and train store staff.
• Enforce daily operating procedures to keep store clean, stocked, organized; follow policies and report issues to upper management.
• Ensure merchandise is stocked, displays are attractive and priced; process price changes as requested by the corporate office; follow vendor policies.
