Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Store Manager in Training in Mt. Pleasant, PA. This role includes on-the-job training to learn how to run a profitable store with strong merchandising, signage, and customer experience.

You will recruit and develop staff, oversee daily operations, ensure compliance, and implement corporate directives to drive profitability. You'll lead a high-energy team, foster training, and maintain excellent customer service while protecting assets and ensuring a welcoming store

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus is preferred.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Must be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as described.

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve our customers.
• Foster growth and development of associates through training and coaching.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities for smooth daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies; enforce procedures.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
